Mobile Factory Example of implementation
A site dedicated to female announcers
Official mobile site: "Announcer / Cent. Force"
A site unlike any before it!
The path to becoming a "Specialized site for female announcers"
When we proposed this unprecedented site, we knew that it would not succeed if it was set up the same way as typical sites featuring media personalities. Instead, we proposed a site where fans could see their favorite announcers in a more relaxed setting, which was rarely shown on TV. The basic concept was "to focus on their true personalities."
"Do what comes naturally!"
This was the producer's pet phrase. To create contents that showed the announcers as they truly are, telling them "Do this! Do that!" during the taping simply would not work. This site places an emphasis on creating an environment where these talented women can express themselves any way they want, so that users can see their favorite announcers' true personalities.
The main theme is "Having fun"
Of course we make every possible effort to ensure that the members enjoy the site, but we also consider it important for the announcers, who are the centerpiece of the site, to enjoy themselves as well. Creating an environment that changes from day to day is the key to the success of a site that is always enjoyable for everyone involved.
Development of operational tools
Speedy operations that respond to constant changes
Our basic approach is that "ease of use and operability" = "speedy operations." Tools that can be used intuitively, even by those who are not familiar with PCs, is another key to ideal "speedy operations." The strength of this site's operation structure was made possible by the development of these tools.
Comments from the staff
When I look back on the development of this site, I can remember three main hurdles. The first was proposing the plan to the production staff and making projections for the movement in membership numbers. The second was explaining the outline of the plan to the mobile phone carriers. And the third was our concern about whether the members would really be accepting of the site design. Now that it's up and running, we can look back at those days and laugh, but at the time, I was worrying so much that it made my stomach hurt. We receive a variety of requests from members, and we do our best to incorporate those suggestions, in order to make the site as enjoyable as possible.

The newly remodeled LesPros Net
Focus of the Renovation
Before the renovation, the LesPros site entailed mainly artists' diaries and photos that could be downloaded for use as mobile phone wallpaper. Our central task was to determine "What will encourage members to visit the site more often even every day?"
Increasing the frequency of visits
First, aside from the frequency of updates for existing contents, we added a "NEW" section to identify the most popular contents. "NEW" refers to contents that provide the users with special information. It's a space where we can constantly transmit the latest information available.
Operations centered around an e-mail magazine
Message to non-members
With the renewal, in addition to the regular mail magazine offered to only to paying members, we created a new "LesPros News" magazine that anyone can purchase, so that we could transmit LesPros information to even more readers.
Information on updates provided through the mail magazine
While increasing the frequency of updates for diaries, wallpaper downloads, and other contents, we placed an emphasis on operations that used the mail magazine effectively. We used the magazine not only to advise users of content updates, but also to transmit special information, in order to create a site that keeps the members satisfied, all the time.
Comments from the staff
The main theme of this renovation was "Freedom." The site operators wanted to be able to freely add a wide range of updated information, including new contents, new pages, and links to various other pages in the site, all from a single management page. To accomplish this, we had to achieve a comprehensive flow, right from the site configuration and design stage, without missing anything.
I think that we managed to design a "LesPros" site that adapts to constant changes, and is fun not only for members but for the site operators as well.
